Is your radiator leaking?
- If your radiator is leaking, Place a container or towels under the radiator to contain the leak. You can close the rad valves/TRV’s on the radiator by turning them off clockwise. This should stop the leak as it will restrict the water from entering the leaking radiator (the water will drain from the radiator until empty).
- If the radiator valve/thermostatic valve is leaking, switch off your central heating boiler and call HomePolicy on 02089878031 to arrange for one of our happy gas heating engineers to assist you in fixing your issue.
- For a radiator securing nut leak, this may only require the securing nut to be tightened. This can be done by gently and with the correct spanner tightening the securing.
- If you manage to stop your radiator leak and you notice your boiler central heating pressure is low and needs topping up, please follow this LINK to guide you how to top up your boiler system pressure. Press this LINK to follow our guide to bleed any radiators that need bleeding.
